The advanced roadcraft course I did in 2003 was a real eye opener (as well as a shock to the ego)! In retrospect, it was all common sense and many of the techniques should be taught at entry level to getting a license.Geoff Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05041523109817248619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341114511830074977.post-74507882870941860892010-04-08T03:19:20.868+12:002010-04-08T03:19:20.868+12:00I offer a hearty Amen!!!I offer a hearty Amen!!!irondadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17821323482397075170noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341114511830074977.post-24621838428839343342010-03-23T13:19:29.725+13:002010-03-23T13:19:29.725+13:00Thanks guys. If local logging truck drivers with a big rig can stay on their side of the road, why can't the rest???Geoff Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05041523109817248619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341114511830074977.post-82420529736600342742010-03-23T10:17:42.711+13:002010-03-23T10:17:42.711+13:00Those roads do look awesome!! Same problem in the UK as I'm sure you remember well, but it tends to be kn@bheads in Subaru's thinking they are on Top Gear who are the main culprits here.Mr Bunglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16631346036519083344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4341114511830074977.post-55038523911373272982010-03-08T09:37:19.098+13:002010-03-08T09:37:19.098+13:00Nice post Geoff! I have a friend who just arrived in NZ for the rest of the year. He's lovin it there!

You give good info here on riding safety. I sometimes feel "safer" out in the country but there are a whole set of other issues there like people wandering over the center line.
Take care...Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11946652999166458805noreply@blogger.com
